Waverley Paddle Steamer cruises from Yarmouth

The famous Waverley Paddle Steamer is celebrating her 75th Diamond Jubilee anniversary, 1947-2022, and returns to the South Coast in September for a variety of sailings from Yarmouth Harbour, Southampton, Portsmouth, Poole and Swanage. The first sailing from Yarmouth Harbour will take place on Friday, 2nd September.
The popular round the Isle of Wight sail features in the programme each Tuesday and Saturday where passengers can enjoy magnificent views of the Island’s coastline, including the famous Needles rocks and lighthouse, Alum Bay, Freshwater Bay, St Catherine’s Lighthouse and much more.
Children go free on selected sailings, including one-way trips from Southampton to Portsmouth, sailings from Yarmouth Harbour to Swanage and afternoon cruises from Swanage along the Jurassic coast. On many days there are discounts for seniors, including the popular special offer “Seniors Bring a Friend Half Fare”.
Waverley’s Master said: “I am looking forward to returning Waverley to the South Coast after an absence of four years. Only aboard Waverley can locals and visitors view so much of the Isle of Wight and Jurassic coastlines. We look forward to welcoming passengers back aboard the world’s last seagoing paddle steamer for trips along the stunning South Coast this September.”
