ADMINISTRATION / HR MANAGER
Applications are invited for the above full-time post commencing in early October 2018
This is a great opportunity for a friendly, meticulous and flexible individual to join the team at Yarmouth Harbour on a permanent basis.
The role will have a strong emphasis on HR functions, committee management at board level, general administrative activities, as well as supervising and supporting staff.

The Administration/HR Manager’s role is to:
be responsible for the organisation’s HR functions, ensuring applicable legislation is complied with
oversee the day to day running of the busy administration department
co-ordinate and administer activities related to the Board of Commissioners and related sub-committees
administration of the annual moorings IT systems and supporting documentation
be responsible for leading and supervising the administration and ferry terminal operatives’ teams
We are looking for someone who:
displays strong personal responsibility, initiative and integrity
is highly organised and flexible, being able to manage several work streams effectively at once, prioritising workload and working well under pressure
is self-motivated, and able to make decisions using their own initiative
is a team player with an enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn
is computer literate, being an advanced level user of Microsoft Office products
possesses excellent communication (verbal / written), diplomatic and organisational skills
is confident and outgoing, enjoying a genuine customer focus
demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy
has experience of leading and managing a team, and conducting annual performance reviews
has verifiable administration and secretarial skills
has proven ability to prepare concise and accurate written material, including interpreting discussions which take place at meetings and record decisions reached
