Yarmouth Pier Temporary Closure

Yarmouth Pier Temporary Closure

With support from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) the restoration of Yarmouth Pier is now underway. The Pier is now temporarily closed to visitors whilst the essential works are carried out but we’ll keep you up to date with progress via Facebook (yarmouthpier) and in the news section of the website. Yarmouth Pier looks forward to welcoming visitors again in the summer.

Annual Moorings

At Yarmouth Harbour we have a range of Annual Mooring options including Finger Berths, Non Walk Ashore and Pile moorings in the inner Harbour as well as Walk Ashore, Non Walk Ashore and Pile moorings in the river, south of the Yar Bridge. We operate a waiting list for Annual Moorings. Waiting times vary depending on your preferred mooring location and type of vessel.

A number of berths are reserved for Commercially operated vessels.

You can download a copy of the License Terms and a Waiting List Application form using the links below.

Note that for Non-Commercial Moorings you must be resident on the Isle of Wight within a radius of 7 miles from the Church of St James in Yarmouth. If you do not meet the residency criteria to apply for an annual mooring licence, or you would just prefer a more flexible arrangement, there are other berthing options available at Yarmouth Harbour which may suit you at very competitive prices.
