Activities in Yarmouth
Just a few steps from your boat in the harbour you can find yourself on a pretty sandy beach, The Sandhard, great for a quick swim and sandcastle building before eating al fresco in the dedicated BBQ area next to the beach.
On The Green, next to Yarmouth Sailing Club, is Yarmouth Harbour’s Sensory Trail, which encourages everyone to discover more about the Western Yar Estuary, the harbour, and the West Wight landscape.
Fishing is popular from Yarmouth Pier, just remember to purchase your permit first from the Harbour Office Reception.
Boat Trips
From Yarmouth Harbour, you can go on fishing trips or sightseeing boat tours, take out boat charters, or choose between several popular cruises to see the distinctive rocks of The Needles.
