Julia Margaret Cameron
Julia Margaret Cameron (1815 – 1879) was one of the most important early photographers and is now recognised the world over as a pioneer of photography as art.
For 15 years between 1860 to 1875, Dimbola was Julia’s home and workplace. Now the building is preserved by the Julia Margaret Cameron Trust and made open to the public.
